DPS Alumni of the
Year Award
Delhi Public School's ongoing,
continuous, non-stop personal
development assures us that there is no
limit to what DPS Alumni can accomplish. Click here for Pictures
The school has, in the last 50+ years
based on its 'Service before Self'
motto, consistently transformed its
students into persons of integrity and
character, showing empathy and respect
for others and possessing inner
connectedness and self respect;
consistently chiseled them into
pioneers, captains of industry, medical
professionals, distinguished statesmen,
artists and creative personnel, shining
examples in public and administrative
service and.... better human beings.
A desire to be observed, considered,
esteemed, praised, beloved, and admired
by his fellows is one of the earliest as
well as the keenest dispositions
discovered in the heart of man.
Its first recipient was Shri Navin
Jindal, Honorable member of Indian
Parliament. An alumnus of 1984 batch,
he has once again been re-elected proving
that DPS Alumni are unique..and made of
steely stuff.
Consistent, steely stuff.
But DPS Alumni are doing breathtaking work
across many fronts... and making a
difference. Making a difference is not
about being a big hero..or making big
bucks. It is about having the ability and
how we use it.
Nominations for 2008
proved just this. And so did the votes.
Therefore, DPS Alumni
of the Year Award has been categorized and
will continue to evolve.
