After the Libya tenure, he moved to Norway and started work and residencies for Norwegian Specializations in August 87 after qualifying the language requirement. He is an Accredited Specialist in Family Medicine, Public Health and, Psychiatry from Norway and a Member of Norwegian Medical Association.
Initially, he worked as Family Physician till 1997, Bergen, and thereafter as Psychiatrist, Stavanger. Presently he is a Consultant Psychiatrist at the hospital and Senior Advisor to various departments in the Ministry of Health, Norway. Raman is settled in Stavanger, on the west coast of Norway and his family comprises of his wife and two children.
Raman likes cycling and recently has started playing golf. They all love traveling and as Raman put it 'My Work is my hobby'.
